Praying for you Sol that everything will go well for you and your baby. I will continue to pray for you husband and his conversion. I will pray for the whole custody situation. I know it has to be difficult. My sister went through that but it was ugly and it took 6 years in court. Her ex was very difficult though. Divorce is just ugly. I will ask the Blessed Mother and her mother, St. Anne to pray for you and I also ask them to pray for the other person who is going through a divorce too, CShone, so that she will also have courage during this difficult time. May the Holy Spirit strenghten both of you and you both lean on the Father and your brother Jesus.

God Bless!!🙂

Praying…

Our Father who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name.
thy kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil…Amen.

Hail Mary full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of your womb…Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God
Pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be.
World without end.
Amen

We are scheduled for our first mediation (one of two) next week, and the next one is schedule about a week later. Please pray that I obtain full custody because my baby is still nursing and has never spent the night with her dad.

He currently sees her twice a week and every other weekend for several hours, but he claims that he wants to spend 40% of the time with her including overnights. There were many instances where he would rather see his mistress than his daughter. He has also exposed her to many women but claims they are just friends. It is so difficult to trust or believe anything he says because he abandoned us for another woman when I was less than 3 months pregnant and denied it.

Please pray for us. Thank you so much and God bless!!

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Tomorrow is our initial mediation appointment (the first of two), please pray that we can come to an agreement that favors my daughter and I. He wants 40% of the time, and also wants overnight visitation. However, she still nurses. Please pray for us. He was not around for her or me during my pregnancy, but now he wants her to spend time away from me. Thank you. God bless.

Please know my prayers are with you for this, Sol! I thought generally that nursing was a reason for no overnights until the child is at least 2 or no longer nursing, so I pray that will not be a matter of question. I know how hard this is… so I pray very much for you. hugs God bless and keep you and your daughter during this difficult time. May you receive the peace desired for this mediation.

Lord, we know You understand what is happening here and pray that Your will be done. Help those making decisions here do what is best. Guide Your hand in this and move so what is best will be done. We trust in Your providential Hand of mercy and love. Bring your healing to this hurting mother and protection for this child.

In Jesus’ most precious Name, Amen.

The mediation session was not productive at all, and I believe the mediator sided with my husband. She told me that I needed therapy to work out my issues in front of my husband. I do not think that that was professional, and my husband now has more ammunition against me. She also told me to get over it, but I do not want my husband to expose my daughter to different women.

I broke down in front of the mediator. I prayed for strength and wisdom, but I could not handle my husband’s requests and lies. He wants overnights as soon as next month or else he will take me to court. Please keep in mind that he is an attorney and is not accruing attorneys fees (one of his associates is supposedly representing him).

Please continue to pray for me. It seems that my husband’s lifestyle and the fact that he abandoned us when I was less than 3 months pregnant does not matter to anyone. What type of society do we live in?!

Thank you!

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the Fuit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

I pray for your own strength to remain calm and try to do the terribly hard work of leading with your reason instead of your heart. As a mother going through divorce myself I know that struggle and it is at times enough to drag you all the way down. I pray at those tomes you find strength to know God lifts you up and is with you and your child and her father too - always. I pray for her father that he act in your child’s best interest and keep her out of disturbing influences. I also pray you have close friends and family to show you love and support too.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this. Who arranged the mediator? Obviously someone with an agenda not neutral. Explain this to your attorney and ask for a more neutral mediator. Mediators are never to take sides by mediate the two sides. Something went wrong. I will continue to pray for you. Do you have some support? Please go to your priest and explain your situation to him. Also, spend as much time as possible before the Blessed Sacrament (Adoration). Just sit there and let Him bring healing into your soul. When there place this is His hands and pray that He brings a greater good out of this pain.

You will be in my prayers!
My love in Him,

We are scheduled for our 3rd and final mediation session concerning custody and visitation. My baby is on 17 months old and still nursing, but her dad wants overnights. The mediator is biased, but I hope that the Holy Spirit can touch both of them. Our session is in a couple of hours. Please pray for a favorable outcome for my baby and I. Thank you!!

Hello,

I am very sorry to hear about this pain in your life. I will ask St. Joseph to speak to your husband’s heart so that he reconciles with you at least for the sake of the child for now. Just as Joseph did all for the sake of the Child, may your husband as well.

Fr. Dominic
