Prayers to save marriage & for a healthy baby

Hi Everyone,

It’s been almost a year since there was any activity on this thread. We finally signed the parenting agreement last month. Yay! I did not get exactly what I wanted, but I did get residential custody and I must inform my soon-to-be ex about major decisions about health, school, religion, and extracurricular activities before taking them. He can give me his (name removed by moderator)ut if he likes but I have final decision making. No need to go to court against the dishonest lawyer. Besides, he does not have to pay any attorney fees.

He makes much more money than I do, but he the vast majority of his clients pay him cash. He does not claim all the money he makes. He has many more assets than I do. He inherited most of them so I have no claim to them. This man has dissipated tens of thousands of dollars, does not play legal fees, and lies about his income.

We had a pretrial a few days ago. The judge recommended that our apartment abroad be split in half. We both gave the same amount down and it has been paid off. I deserve a larger percentage or extra cash for dissipation and attorneys’ fees. He exposed my daughter to his former and current mistress (paramour). He was in contempt of court but only received a slap on the wrist from the judge. What is worse is that he continues to expose my baby to his mistress. She has witnessed too much indecency for her early age.

We are not heading to trial unless we come to an agreement before the middle of next week. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will guide the judge, my attorney, and my witnesses. I also need guidance, patience, and wisdom. Thank you so much and God bless!

Thank you for your prayers and support. Yes, I do have residential custody and am grateful. My daughter’s attorney as well as the judge were aware of my soon-to-be ex’s contempt of court due to his violation of the judge’s order. It clearly showed that he exposed and allowed my daughter to leave with his mistress without his supervision! Thank you & God bless!

My attorney will ask to judge to withdraw from representing me because I questioned his strategies. I asked him why he hadn’t included all the names I requested on the witness list. I also asked why he hadn’t asked for certain subpoenas.

Please pray that the Holy Trinity guide my divorce proceedings. How can an attorney have the same salary as a part-time teacher?! He is not being honest. He is stealing from us. Let every judge and attorney she right through him. He is a charmer. I will have 21 days from tomorrow to find a different attorney but that would entail a hefty retainer. I have many debts including soon-to-be ex attorney.

The attorney in my case officially withdrew from my case. It looks like my soon-to-be ex will get away with murder! I do not have money to hire another attorney because I will probably have to come up with a $5000-$10,000 retainer just for him/her to catch up. I am feeling very disappointed and angry. Please continue to pray for me!! I have to file an appearance soon and has a go to court for status.

Thank you TBCrawford and GraceAngel for your prayers. I have not found an attorney to represent me. Unfortunately, I do not qualify for any legal aid either. There is an organization that I would qualify for a sliding fee, however, they turned me away because my soon-to-be ex and I attended a few fundraisers but he never volunteered or worked for them. Please pray the the Holy Trinity to guide me. I need to find an attorney who will properly represent me. I hope that the judge will allow discovery to reopen as well. My former attorney did a poor job and I still have a balance with him. He just sent me a bill a few days ago. I haven’t lost faith in God but I have lost faith in this unfair Family Court System.
