First, what is the goal for your 5th grade year? We do “the Apostle’s Creed” for 5th Grade (Faith and Life series).
What you have here is a considerable number of prayers - I’m an adult convert 10+ years and I do not know all of them by rote. It would seem to me that you would spend all of the class time learning these prayers to get through this list.
I wasn’t clear though, sorry, I don’t expect them to memorize them! I agree, that would be too difficult and take too much time, we have to focus on other things. I just want them to have them, know that there’s a spot where they can find them easily, and have a familiarity with them. Also, we start every session with a prayer, and I thought it would be good to introduce them to other prayers than the Our Father and the Hail Mary (As good, holy, and Sacred as those prayers are.)
Before I started I thought they might not even know the Sign of the Cross, what with the horror stories I hear on the forums all the time. They are actually all very well versed in their Faith, however. I guess we have a good program here. I just noticed that they didn’t know the Glory Be when we did a class rosary, so I thought they might not know others and would probably like to have them (they get excited about things like this. I told them I’d bring them Holy Cards of St. Michael and they were bouncing in their seats)

They should be learning the Apostles’ Creed (new information for Grade 5), the Ten Commandments (review from Grade 4), Act of Faith, Act of Hope, and Act of Charity/Love (review from when they did First Reconciliation), and the Mysteries of the Rosary (new information for Grade 5).
first find out what your diocese requires
also use the printed prayers in your textbook, or the supplemental family prayerbook supplied by many publishers.
make sure they know the basics before introducing new prayers and devotions, and especially make sure they know the prayers and responses for Mass and how to assist attentively at Mass.
