Hi, everybody. I just wanted to ask for prayers as I’m going back out to sea tomorrow. It’s really hard for me to be out there, because I really dislike my job and I find the Navy a very difficult organization to deal with. Worst of all, I spend most of my time on ships that have no Catholic chaplain so I have no idea how long it will be before I am able to attend Mass again and I never seem to meet any other Catholics. Please pray that I don’t fall into depression as I did the last time I went out and that I maintain a strong spiritual life despite the lack of support. Thank you.

Will do, and may our dear Blessed Mother hold you in her loving arms and often repeat your name to her dear Son, Christ Jesus.
Thank you so much for your service.

For your prayer request:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

God Bless You

:amen:

I am praying also, LL!

Lord Jesus Christ, both the faithless and the faithful need you: be at their side. Bring glory to the Father by giving hope to all men. You are Lord, you are King, you are the Redeemer: may the Gospel be preached to all men in all ways at all times.

All glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

Praying for you, but remember God is always with you , and in your lonely hour ask your guardian angel to help you, all they need is asking good luck and god bless:gopray2:

Don’t forget to take your rosary with you and when you really feel lonely, ask our dear Blessed Mother to pray the Holy Rosary with you as you go through the Mysteries each day thinking about the life of Her and Her dear Son who always goes before you.
I will also ask your Guardian Angel to keep you safe from all harm. God bless you and again, thank you.

Thank you for your prayers. I suppose I need them now to simply have patience for the Navy’s indecision. About a 1/2 hour before I was supposed to leave I get the “oh, wait, no, we lied” call. Now I’ll be leaving. . .at some point.
