Hi, I started posting on here when I started college, around the end of August.

things weren’t going to well, and sadly they never really got better, thankfully i was about to work hard and now Im planning to transfer for winter quarter

even though I am greatful for being able to get to a different school things haven’t been going well. Im lost and find myself praying for help everyday.

the thing that scares me the most is that while I pray to the Lord everyday for answers I can never hear them. I feel as though he doesn’t want to talk to me… or is trying to tell me something but I dont get it.

I have a lot going on, and a lot of it is my lack of self esteem and my fear of being indepenent

if you have any advice, or wouldnt mind praying I would greatly love this

Ok, I’ll pray. Many great saints experienced not being able to hear God. Only by faith were they able to not drift away from Him. Your lot is a truly difficult one, joined in a rough way to the Cross. My advice would be to read some of these saints’ lives, like Mother Theresa, or St. Padre Pio’s letters to his spiritual director.

I’ll pray for you, Rhyli. I’m glad you got your transfer.

Can you get to Adoration? Try going, and just adoring Him… not praying for anything, just telling Him you love Him and why. Read some Psalms. Or this - you can always rely on St. Thomas Aquinas!

Being in His Presence will help. I promise!
