Praying a one decade Rosary

Would someone please explain how to pray a one decade Rosary. I understand that there’s one Our Father Knot or Bead and 10 Hail Mary Knots or Beads. And that you pray the one decade Rosary as you do a regular sized 15 decade Rosary but with only one Our Father knot before the 10 Hail Mary Knots–I don’t understand how it can be prayed the same.

I am not understanding your question, I presume you are referring to a rosary bracelet or chaplet that has beads for one decade, probably with a cross and a medal. Say the Apostles Creed, one our Father , 3 hail Mary’s one glory be to begin as you always do, then recite as many decades as you wish, 1 OF, 10 HM, GB, just keep going around the circle as it were. what’s the problem?

Can you break it down for me. What to pray on the Crucifix, on the single Our Father Bead, on the center piece and the Hail Mary Beads and on any of the spaces between the beads. And yes it is a one decade bracelet type Rosary.

I’ve never seen instruction for this type of rosary that is as specific as you’re looking for. But this is what I’d do:

Holding the cross, say the creed, the our father, 3 hail mary’s, and glory be. For help in counting, I’d use each of the 3 points of the cross (not the one that the chain or rope is attached to) to count the hail mary’s. Then if there is a large bead, say the our father on it. Hail Mary’s on each of the 10 small beads, and then the Glory Be on the large bead again. I’d probably hold onto the cross again as I said the Hail Holy Queen etc. (if I said enough of the rosary to get to that point).

Thanks for your help. I’ve been looking online on and off for days for some kind of instructions for praying the one decade Rosary without any luck.
