Praying for 3 consecutive days?

You guys have been helped me out a lot when it comes to my questions. How do I pray for 3 consecutive days. For example, if I prayed at 9:00 am today, 4:00 pm tomorrow, and 7:00 am on Monday. Can this be considered consecutive? Two other examples.

Example 2
Today 9:00 am
Tomorrow 9:00 am
Monday 9:00 am

Example 3
Today 9:00 am
Tomorrow 10:00 am
Monday 11:00 am

Which one is the right way? :confused:

Are you speaking about a “novena?” These can be prayed for nine consecutive days, or sometimes a shorter one consisting of three days. The time of day is not important to keep a rigid schedule such as you outlined. One simply needs to pray the novena daily in succession.
 
Ok, then, it is still a novena. In that case, you may say it on each of the three days, but the time of day does not have to be the same time every day during the novena. The prayer is offered from the heart, and that is what the Holy Spirit hears.
 
If you are praying a novena or similar prayer, you simply need to pray for 9 (or 3) days in a row. The time doesn’t matter.

I find it easiest to add novena prayers to whenever I normally pray, so that I don’t forget. So usually I pray the novena with my evening prayers before bed.

When do you pray now, or when do you expect you’ll have time during the day to pray? Pick that time.
 
A Novena is a nine day prayer. Thats what the latin means. Presently I have 7 Novena prayers in progress. Three of them are perpetual Novena. I have prayed them in 9 day segments for over 6 years now. Everyday prayer is easy. But you need to not let the distractions of life foul you up. If this starts to ocur them shorten the number of prayers so that you can complete at least something. Things get easier as you develop good habits.😃

That is true, but there are many shortened novenas on the internet consisting of only three days. The idea is persistent prayer, no matter the number of days. Let’s not add confusion for the OP.

Maybe we should find another latin name for these, such as “tri-vena?” 😛
 
yes. three days means three days, you don’t have to worry about the time.

Guessing this thread might get moved to another part of the forum now. But thanks for the replies. Been learning a lot since I came here.

(((Holy Spirit, you who make me see everything and show me the way to reach my ideal. You who give me the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me and you who are in all instances of my life with me. I, in this short dialogue, want to thank you for everything, and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from you no matter how great the material desires may be, I want to be with you and my loved ones in your perpetual glory. You must pray this prayer 3 consecutive days without asking your wish. After the 3rd day, your wish will be granted no matter how difficult it may be. Promise to publish this dialogue as your favor has been granted.)))

I’ll admit I was rather skeptical of this prayer at first. But I gave it shot and did it at the end of my Holy Spirit Chaplet. I did get the answer to my question the hard way.
