Praying for discernment....

Now that I have gone back to work after being home with my children for nine years, I am trying to discover where God really wants me. I am not particularly happy at my present job, though I know I am blessed to have it, and it was a good way to start working after such a long time home.

Would you mind saying a prayer for some discernment for me? I have already found this forum to be a great blessing, so hope you can help me again.

Wow … back to work after 9 years. Congratulations! I am sure you are making a beautiful difference in the lives you are touching.

Until God unfolds a newer plan for you, I pray that you’ll be happy where you are, especially around the holidays.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to assist you in your discernment.
 
Lord, please guide Lynn to the job that you want for her. Help her to discern where you are leading her and bless her in the meantime at her present job with graces to keep her joyful and happily content. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
 
Our God, whatever I attempt, achieve or leave undone in my efforts to find the best path for my activities and relationships, let Your desires and the good of others, along with my own welfare and development, be abundantly fulfilled. I trust in You, who write straight with crooked paths, to grant this prayer through Jesus Your Son.
