Praying for others to share my good fortune

I just got off the phone with my mother, and was overwhelmed with thankfulness that I have such a wonderful, supportive mother, who is still married to my kind and understanding father. I’m so blessed to have been born into a family with parents like mine.

I’d just like to say a prayer for all those whose families are not so supportive. For those kids who are growing up with parents who, for whatever reasons, can’t give them what they need. A prayer for people who have lost their parents, either physically or spiritually. Also a prayer for children of broken homes. I have been so blessed in my family - I wish everyone could have parents as loving as mine.

I’m also praying that I will be as successful raising my own future children as my parents were at raising the four of us.

I’d love to join in that prayer! I too have been blessed with such wonderful and loving parents! And that is something that needs to be emphasized. But I feel like I should pray for the family as a whole. God is favorable in his blessings and more than likely wouldn’t mind shining them over a family 👍

Also, if you wouldn’t mind, keep my friend in your prayers. His parents haven’t been too supportive of his choices of friends, yet they friends in question are great people.
