When we pray for the salvation of others, let’s say I have all the free time in the world but only choose to say 3 Hail Marys for my family. I had enough time to say a whole Rosary for them but chose not to.
  1. Would this be a sin of laziness?
  2. Is my prayer still accepted by God?

Sins of omission are just the same as other kinds of sin.
We are asked to pray for each other often. It’s a work of mercy to pray for them.
God never rejects any prayer.
Have a Mass offered for them, if you’re troubled by this. And of course, attend this Mass, if possible.
Peace.
