By St. Therese of the Child Jesus

O Jesus, Eternal Priest, keep Your priests within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart, where none may touch them. Keep unstained their anointed hands which daily touch your Sacred Body. Keep unsullied their lips daily purpled with Your Precious Blood. Keep pure and unearthly their hearts sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood. Let Your holy love surround them and shield them from the world’s contagion. Bless their labors with abundant fruit, and may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here, and in heaven their beautiful and everlasting crown. Amen.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for sending me three wonderful priests to my Latin mass and local parishes. May their catechesis work many miracles of conversion and reconversion. May the seed that they scatter flourish, rooted in hearts that are opening in response to the proclamation of your word and the reception of your Most Holy Sacrifice: the Eucharist. May our parishioners respond to the call to discern their vocations and may those who discern a vocation to the priesthood or religous life receive the support and formation which will help them, in their turn, to save many souls. May all of this work for your glory and, when you have called my priests home, may they joyfully hear you say: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant(s)…”. Amen.
