I’m a Catholic convert (little over 2 years) I still struggle and flip flop back and forth over the RCC teachings…Mary, Purgatory, confession…to a priest, etc; BUT I look at t this way… the Catholic Church is the oldest institution in the world…every other form of Christianity splintered from Gods Church…why would God lead us in such disarray for 1500 years?! So…I trust what the Church teaches, not because a Priest, Bishop just says so…but because it is safe guarded by the Holy Spirit in teaching errors on faith and morals (ex cathedra) :signofcross:
