It is ok to pray on the go. I do it. I would also try to take some time in your day to just pray.

Yeah. I’ve prayed in all kinds of places, waiting in lines, on the bus, plane, car, walking. I think it’s a good idea.

I knew a priest who liked to pray his rosary while walking about. Each to his own.

Prayer is a little bit like the Dr. Seuss book, “Green Eggs & Ham”. “Would you eat them on a plane? Would you eat them on a train?” You can pray pretty much anywhere. 🙂

Excuse me for not remembering the exact place this is found, but the bible does say we are to “pray without ceasing.”

The location doesn’t matter. How will anyone know your silent thoughts anyway? This time is between you and God.
It’s good to pray during seemingly idle times. Use your time wisely…and pray! yes!

Feel free to pray anytime/anywhere you feel like. I pray my Divine Office Morning Prayers on my express bus into work every morning & my Rosary on the way home.

If you’re comfortable with it and it works for you, I don’t see why not. My daily bus commute is actually where I pray the most. No, it’s not the only place I pray, but this is most likely the first, and maybe only, part of my day where I am alone (surrounding passengers not included) and can gather my thoughts. I also find that I feel more centered and peaceful generally if I pray before starting my workday.

My rosary goes everywhere with me – when I’m walking to Church or to public transportation I say a decade – I couldn’t go anywhere without my rosary!!!

It used to be very common that if you saw priests out in public on a bus, train, plane, etc., they would probably be praying the prayers in their breviary book. In one of the Sherlock Holmes stories, Holmes even dresses up like an Italian priest doing this! It was also fairly common to see people saying the Rosary on trips, or while just walking along. (There were pictures of Pope Benedict XVI out walking with his Rosary.

Nowadays, there are all kinds of prayer apps and ebooks for folks on the go, albeit rosaries and chaplets are the original portable app. 🙂

I don’t have a Rosary , I don’t have a Prayer book,
But I pray while I work, walk, shop, Drive, I’m not Obsessed with Prayer,
I don’t pray every day, but when I feel I need a Faith Booster Shot ,
I go to a large Vacant Field , and Pray out loud,
It’s an interesting experience , you should try it,
It doesn’t matter where or when you pray, as long as you pray,

Pray unceasingly. Anywhere anytime.

However, make sure you setting aside prayer time that is nothing but you and the Lord. I can fall easily into the “I can pray anywhere” trap that squeezes out pure prayer time.
