Praying in the Midst of Sinning

As I am human, I sin constantly every day. Sometimes when I am sinning I pray, especially the Jesus Prayer. So what do the Church Fathers or other saints have to say about this particular situation?

Does it make it even worse of a sin? Is it beneficial? 🤷

Thoughts?
 
I was wondering this too. I find myself saying, “Lord, please forgive me,” several times a day. :gopray:
