Praying the Office

Hello everyone,

I’ve recently started praying the Little Office of the BVM, but I’ve really had a hard time finding a schedule to stick to, either making one of my own or finding one online. Are there official times to pray the seven hours or do I just have to figure it out?

I used to pray the Little Office, but now I’ve moved up to the full volume set of the LOTH.
THis is my schedule (sp)

1-Lauds- immediatly after rising
2-terce- about 9:00am
3-Sext- 12:00pm
4-None- 3:00pm
5-Vespers-6:00 or 6:30
6-Compline- immediatley (sp) before bed
*Matins- (any time of the day as Layed out in the General Instruction of the Liturgy of the Hours) or the night before on a solemnity or sunday as a vigil, or immediatley before lauds

these are pretty close to the usual canonical hours

Thank you very much for your help. That was the schedule that I had made for myself. I guess it is just a matter of waking up to actually do them all 🙂

Well God bless and I will pray for your vocation. I’ll even put it in the Office!
