A little over 20 years ago, I decided that I wanted to pray the psalms according to the rule of St. Benedict. I originally arranged it for three times a day. Then, some years ago, changed it to four times a day. It has seen many changes over the years and probably will see more. I offer it as a way to pray the psalter in one week, as a devotional. Change it as you wish. Those using the Douay-Rheims for the psalms will need to make the appropriate adjustments.

About the same time (about 20 years ago) I worked on a similar analysis, but I couldn’t get myself to stay with it. Are you still doing this? To what do you attribute your motivation? Do you feel you miss much if your not doing the Office? Have you considered–or would you recommend–a “reconciliation?”
God bless you for this encouragement to restart.
