Praying The Rosary

This may be in the wrong place, so I apologize if it is. I want to start praying the Rosary. I did purchase one. However, since I don’t have the prayer memorized, would it be ok to read the prayers?
 
Of course. How else would most of us learn it if not by reading it? It’ll become habit after awhile. Just focus on the mysteries while reciting them. God Bless!
 
Praying the Rosary is wonderful, and of COURSE you can read the prayers,
and the meditations/mysteries, too!!
GOOGLE Online Scriptural Rosary, those three words,
and you’ll get lots of scriptural rosary websites where you can print the prayers and meditations/mysteries, complete with scripture verses.

The Rosary is a set of prayer beads not an actual prayer. Catholics are not the only ones who use prayer beads and the Hail Mary is not the only prayer said. you can say any set of prayers you want, I use them to count time as I am praying and meditating (I don’t know the prayers for it) mine is also sentimental as my grandmother gave me hers so it has more sentimental meaning than anything else. Besides do you know how many people wear them as a fashion accessory? Not only that but the feel of them when I am down actually helps me.
 
When I reverted I had to learn a lot of it from scratch too. No harm there 🙂
