Those who make claims like that…there is no way of knowing who they are really talking to or whom they have contacted. Catholic priest exorcists have advised against doing this…for it could be demons behind such phenomena.I was reading a free magazine that was full of spiritual stuff, one of the articles was that of someone claiming to be able to communicate and pray to angels with no mention of God what so ever. She also spoke of a spirit guide, my question is, is this right? And is it true, do we have spirit guides along with guardian angels? I know that some Catholics pray to saints, is it the same thing?
This sounds like some occult literature you might pick up next to the supermarket tabloids.I was reading a free magazine that was full of spiritual stuff, one of the articles was that of someone claiming to be able to communicate and pray to angels with no mention of God what so ever. I’m glad you understand! But to talk to, call it pray to if that is your terminology, and ask, or thank, of an angel, is most certainly just what they are waiting for. It is thier mission, what they were created for.
Well, if you’re open to ideas, then I’d like to offer my own, wherein I think for everyone these sorts of things are different. On the one hand, we have notions on what angels are, what a saint is, and these things are defined by theology and dogma, which are themselves concepts that fit into a larger religious and cultural framework. They fit particular platforms of thought. For instance, I think I most certainly know some saints in my life – real living people who are saints. The fact that they aren’t recognized officially by any organization as such doesn’t matter to me. I think it’s lovely that people pray to saints, but I am living among a bunch of saints right here. My life is about making the most of that. I was given the ability to have my own experiences, independent of what anyone else tells me about how these experiences should be or what they should mean.I was reading a free magazine that was full of spiritual stuff, one of the articles was that of someone claiming to be able to communicate and pray to angels with no mention of God what so ever.
