Do you ever pray that other people’s Guardian Angels help them? A friend told me that a Saint ( don’t remember the Saint’s name) could see others’ Guardian Angels. She said most of the Angels had their arms folded and their eyes closed because no one ever asked for their help. I’ve also heard recently that you can ask your own Guardian Angel to speak to the Guardian Angels of troubled people who need their help and guidance. I’ve been incorporating this in my daily life and have told my kids about it too.

Has anyone else heard this? Does anyone know the name of the Saint who could see Guardian Angels?

Yes, I ask my Guardian Angel to intercede with others’ if I have a difficult subject to discuss with them.

I started doing this after I read that Vatican diplomats do this before meetings.

I think St. Padre Pio, had this gift.

St. Pio did have this gift but I’m unsure if it was him who saw what was mentioned. I know that St. Pio talked to his guardian angel and I believe sent his guardian angel to go help those in need.

Frequently I ask my angel to communicate w/ the angel of another person. Usually it’s to remind them of something!

I also send my angel to the other person’s angel. Don’t know why, that’s just how it is.

Yes! I do this frequently… it was a practice of St. Josemaria Escriva, founder of Opus Dei… Bl. Pope John the XXIII used the same prictice I believe…

****A Mother’s Prayer ********

Oh faithful, heavenly Friends of my children,

I give you heartfelt thanks for all the love and care you give them.

With you as their spiritual guide, you perfect my care and guidance for each child.

Our Creator has commanded you to be their constant companions because of His awesome love for all children – even mine.

Continue to watch over my children.

Help them ever to stay on the path of righteousness that leads to Heaven.

Pray, likewise, for me, that I may be a Godly mother and wife.

Please ask the angels of my husband, and entire family, to be faithful and true to their mission.

Until that day when we all may rejoice in the blessed presence of our Lord,

I promise to give you thanks
and offer prayers for your strength and aid.

Amen.

This is my re-write of an older prayer. I had to add the “even mine” phrase to help me be more accepting of my kids and their flaws.

Mamamull,

That is a beautiful prayer. I may borrow it, if you don’t mind. Thank you.

I believe there is a book about Padre Pio called “Send Me Your Guardian Angels”. I ordered the book several years ago, read it and loaned it out. I often ask my guardian angel to go help my husband’s guardian angel to watch over my husband.

Peace,

Deanna

Hello

Never thought in doing that myself, I should try it and see what happens.

God Bless
Saint Andrew.

Giannawannbe,

Of couse you may borrow it. I wouldn’t have posted if I didn’t want to share it.

By the time I am getting the kids to bed, I need to take a moment and read that prayer. I put the “even mine” phrase in there for just that reason.

Someday, perhaps I will compose something new. for now, I am grateful for my prayer books that help me pray when I am all in a jumble.

I have both asked my guardian angel to go to the help of others and asked others’ guardian angels to help their charges. If you send your guardian angel to assist another, have no fear that he will not be there to assist you if needed, you are his primary charge and he will help you whenever needed at any time.

Beautiful prayer! Thank you!

I ask all the Guardian Angels of drivers to protect them as they travel and that the Guardian Angels of Pilots help them fly the planes. Also doctors Guardian Angels to help them with surgeries, and decision making. I really leave nothing to chance.

I also pray to my daughters Guardian Angel to protect her and help her throughout the day.🙂

I ask my guardian angel to speak to the other person’s guardian angel about whatever it is I am concerned about. It seems like everything always works out when I use this method rather than trying to talk directly to the other person’s angel. Maybe angels are better at communicating/negotiating among themselves because they are able to see what is happening to us in the spiritual world as well as the physical world. :angel1:

yeah, Blanka, even when i ask Micah* to help someone, like to let them know when their turn signal is on for no reason, i ask with the presumption that he’ll actually be going thru their angel to do it.
GAs are so cool. i wish everyone made use of thiers.
thanks for listening, t
(* i named him after the prophet, but look forward to someday finding out what Daddy named him originally.)

I think it was after reading something in a book by Joan Wester Anderson that I started praying to my guardian angel to go protect/watch over certain people I was worried about for whatever reason. I think of sending my angel to help protect someone as extra protection. It seems like I’ve read about Padre Pio sending his guardian angel to people too. Maybe that’s where I got the idea.

I also think it’s good to talk to your own guardian angel. I wonder if some people are praying to their guardian angels, and maybe they aren’t receiving all the help that they could be receiving from their angels. Maybe my guardian angel helped someone who didn’t ask his/her guardian angel for something that needed to be requested.

Just my two cents.
God Bless!
Kathleen

Yes. When my wife was alive, I always asked my guardian angel to check with her guardian angel to keep her safe, especially if we were going to be apart for awhile. It always worked.

Kyenta mentioned asking the guardian angels of pilots to protect them. I do that too. Not that I have any particular fear of flying, but as we take off, I think of all the guardian angels assigned to these people’s protection, and ask all their guardian angels to keep us safe–especially the angels of the crew!

St. John Vianney could see your guardian angel. They way you described it was how he saw the angels when the person was in a state of mortal sin. Our angels still work for us without asking when we are in a state of grace, but can do more when we have recourse to them. We bind our own angels when we have unrepentant mortal sin.

If it was not St. John Vianney then I would say it was St. Pio.
