Praying while doing chores

Hello all,
I am curious if others find themselves praying while working/doing chores around the house?
I realize there are only 24 hours in a day and I do find time to pray and reflect especially early in the AM but I also find myself using other times to pray, the rosary for example, while driving, puttering around the house etc. Does not being fully focused diminish the effort?

I do it all of the time. Offer the housework, or whatever you’re doing as part of your prayer.

Once asked a spiritual director if I could smoke while I prayed. “Oh. no that is not right.” Then asked if I could pray while I smoked: “Great idea.” We are called to prayed always (“unceasingly”). That would seem to me to cover times such as doing chores … walking etc.

It’s gotta be better than not praying while doing chores. I sometimes check these forums for an intention before I start some task or project.

Yes. I pray as much as I can, and as often as I can, whenever I can.

I had someone who was charismatic–and part of a healing ministry–tell me that I should turn my mind and thoughts as often and as possible to the Lord throughout the day, so that is what I try and do.

Sometimes I find myself praying while I’m ironing. Funny how times goes by so much quicker when I pray than when I don’t.
