Praying with an iPhone?!?

That’s why I asked for a kindle fire so I could sit and use the divine office app. I can focus so much better with it. So much better then a book if you ask me. 🙂
 
I have a Lenovo tablet that’s loaded with Aps and books now. iBreviary and iMissal are fantastic. I also made sure to grab both the Ignatius Bible and the Ignatius Study Bible.

I won’t use it at Mass, mostly because I think it will bother other people (and I don’t want to perform an act that causes others to sin). But I have zero problems using it in pretty much any other setting. Prayer meetings, Scripture studies, visiting a Adoration chapel.

LOL!! so very true!

I use a few apps and absolutely love the convienienceof it all, but nothing will replace holding that ‘Holy Book’ in my hands and slowly turning each delicate page, reading and re reading pasages, the feel of the suple leather, etc.

Yea well, that’s just me 🙂

I use iBreviary, iPieta, Universalis…I love using my iPhone to help me get through my work day!

I have bible/prayers/loads of spiritual books on my phone. It’s very handy when out and about. I don’t use it in church solely because others may think I am doing other stuff on there, and I don’t want them to think uncharitable things about me. I’m thinking in time it will possibly become the norm.

I think there is definately still a place for paper books, apart from their beauty there could one day be natural disasters, or terrorist attacks which could cause widespread shutdown of wireless communications.
 
Because people have not noticed that he got his own number wrong, and that he does not have a verified account (which has a blue tick from Twitter themselves on it), just a copy-paste tick that I can even make on this board like so: ✔️ Verified Account.

I’m not blaming you, I’ve fallen for fake Twitters myself before, but this one definitely isn’t verified. Which usually means only one thing - fake. Even the Vatican Twitter is verified: twitter.com/#!/news_va_en (note the blue tick!) 🙂
