Hello CAF,
I am not sure if this is the right forum for this topic but I hope it’s good enough. I just have a simple question to anyone who might know about the process by which a man became a priest before the Council of Trent. From what I know, the Council of Trent “invented” the seminary process but I am very interested in knowing how young men discerned and were selected and formed for the priesthood before that point.
