Preaching/Teaching on Grave Sins - and Holiness

When is the last time you heard a homily or attended an adult formation class in your parish on the subject:
  1. of specific and particular grave sins? Which ones?
  2. of the universal call to holiness - what that means, and how to “become a saint” as a lay man or woman? How does one do this?
  3. of the vocation from God NOT “to priesthood or the religious life,” but rather to a faithful Catholic life as a lay man or woman? What IS that vocation?
