If you were to write this what would be your order of precedence viz Scripture/Tradition/Magisterium - twinc

What order do they come about? They are all mixed up.

There were probably some traditions that took place before any scritpure was ever written.

Then new traditions probably came about while the books of the Old Testament were being written. More traditions probably followed after the Old Testament was finished.

Then Jesus came, (according to Christians) fullfilled the Old Testament. This of course started a new string of traditions that were being formed during the time of Jesus.

Jesus knowing His fate wanted His Church on Earth to continue. By His Holy Spirit, Jesus would be able to continue to grow and develop His Church on Earth through His disciples. This is where the authority (The Magisterium) came about.

Of course this probably formed more new traditions, which eventually lead to the New Testament writings, which probably led to more traditions.

The end. . 😃

They are all in harmony with one another and depend on eachother in order to have the fullness of the Gospel, so order, as far as I know (I’m not infallable), does not matter here. Unlike the Trinity where procession is important, I don’t think procession matters here. But that is my opinion without actually researching it.

We have a question that sees a difference where ther is more a distinction insofar as all three convey truth. The tradition passes on the deposit of faith through the magesterium. That deposit is supported by and attested to by scripture, but all deal with the same Truth, and that Truth is found in, or better, subsists in the person of Jesus.
