Dear Lillie, you are so brave and remarkably
loving in your spiritual strength to have made
the decisions you have for you and your baby.
I believe God is smiling in heaven as He looks
at your future, for He will most certainly reward
you for your sacrifice. ❤️

I offer the following prayer for you. It has so
much to say to all of us.
Come Holy Spirit, fill my heart with
Your holy gifts.

Let my weakness be penetrated with
Your strength this very day that I may
Fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiously,
that I may do what is right and just.

Let my charity be such as to offend no
one, and hurt no one’s feelings; so
generous as to pardon sincerely any
wrong done to me.

Assist me, O Holy Spirit, in all my trials
of life, enlighten me in my ignorance,
advise me in my doubts
strengthen me in my weakness,

Lillie, I will keep you and your baby in my

peace in your life and to know through it

I sincerely thank each one of you for your continued support and prayers for me and my baby. All of you are helping me more than you know.

I had a good 15 week check-up yesterday. Despite all of my emotional pain and stress during this pregnancy, my baby still has a good heartbeat and all seems to be going well. My next appointment in a month will include a gender ultrasound, and I’m planning to invite the adoptive couple to come with me. They already told my adoption counselor they would like to travel to meet me before the baby is born, and I think this may be a really special time to do it. They may never be able to experience a pregnancy/ultrasound/etc. on their own and I feel blessed to be able to share this with them.

However if they are able to come in a month, I’m afraid I feel obligated to invite my baby’s father to come to the appointment as well. I wouldn’t feel quite right sharing that with the adoptive parents and not my baby’s biological father, despite all the pain he continues to cause my heart. I just don’t know if I’ll be able to handle seeing him in just a month, especially if he is still with his new girlfriend. I hadn’t even imagined going through my pregnancy without him by my side until he left me – it’s hard to imagine him being present at the appointment but still not really “here”. 😦

I will just continue to pray and try my best to carry out God’s loving will.

Infant Jesus, protect this little one and his/her mother! Most Divine, I pray that you protect, guide, guard and provide this mother and child with the comfort of Your love

Words can’t say how much I appreciate all your prayers. Thank you all SO much.

I’ve recently been involved in a car accident as well as many stressful, sleepless nights but my baby and I have been covered in your prayers and are physically doing just fine.

I am meeting the adoptive parents tomorrow evening for the first time. Then, the next morning we will go to my 20-week ultrasound which should also determine the baby’s gender. I’m so glad they were able to make the trip and experience the ultrasound as they may never get to otherwise.

I am still feeling very anxious and depressed though, and my continued rocky relationship with my baby’s father only makes this worse. I’m very attached to him and also easily manipulated by him, but I still haven’t mustered enough strength to completely end our unhealthy relationship. I’m not even sure how to go about doing so, as I am carrying a constant reminder of him, and when we are on bad terms (usually from me standing my ground) he is quick to threaten me to try to fight the adoption, etc. I’m hoping to get some assistance for counseling, as I think it might help me sort through a lot of this mess.

I will keep you all in my prayers.

You continue to show such courage and faith.God loves you so much 🙂
I cannot express how much I admire all you are doing…you are inspirational.

Regarding the relationship with the father of your child…it is a very difficult time for you right now to make life changing decisions.Being pregnant affects our hormones and the situation you are in adds to your vulnerability. You will get stronger and when baby is born you will have your fresh start in life and I pray Our Lord will grant you the strength & wisdom to leave this manipulative relationship once and for all.

So many opportunities will be open to you and one thing you deserve…we each deserve is to be treated with respect and fairness. You have a wonderful heart and deserve to be in a relationship with someone who truly appreciates your qualities and loves you more than anything.
