Can I please get some prayers for myself, husband and baby. I’m pregnant and we’ve been fighting for the past 1.5 days and it’s literally me making sick. I’m having and cramps and my stomach hurts. I know this can’t be healthy for the baby. Husband left all day today just so we wouldn’t fight and cause the baby harm. He is back now but I’m so full of anger even looking at him enrages me. I need the peace of the Holy Spirit and strength to not allow myself to be hurt and angry for the health of our baby. Thank you.

Praying that the Peace and Protection of the Holy Spirit be in you and your husband.

Also…

I cannot speak for you but I was the very Poster Girl of hair-trigger emotion, anger and unreasonableness in my pregnancy. While I do not doubt that your quarrel is based upon something important, is it possible that the fact of you two expecting a baby is prolonging your fight? Perhaps greet your Hubby with a hug and a cuddle when he comes home, sit down, take a deep breath and just speak, low and gently, about whatever is the matter?

I hope I’m not patronising you, my dear. Sometimes, our bodies betray us in pregnancy and makes mountains out of molehills! Also, your Hubby is bound to be worried for you both and this high running tension is a perfect powder keg for discord.

Take good care of yourself, your Hubby and your baby. God bless bless all of you and bring a spirit of peace and friendship into your home.

Prayer in Time of Anger

Lord Jesus, there is anger in my heart and I cannot root it out.
I know that I should calm down and offer the hurt and disappointment to You
but my emotion is running away with me.
Help me to overcome this weakness and give me peace of heart as well as mind.
Let me learn from this experience and grow into a better human being. Amen.
 
Dear Lord, fill this couple and their baby with your live and understanding. Grant them peace, I beg You. Please preserve this family from any and all evil that comes their way!
