Our priest will be coming to our home next month to bless our house (and to stay for dinner–during the Apostle’s Fast, no less, so my vegan cooking skills will be put to the test!). It has been a while since we’ve had a house blessing, so could anybody familiar with Byzantine home blessing traditions/practices tell me what I should have on hand, candles, holy water, et cetera?
