Presbyterians and the Trinity

In the Washington Post today there was a brief article about some (more?) splits in the Presbyterian church. This seemed to be over the PCUSA’s understanding of the trinity. Does any one know anything about this?

My in-laws attend a PSUSA church, but are far from ‘liberal’ in their theology. They’d have a very hard time with a minister telling them that the church has gone Unitarian. Is that what is happening??
 
PCUSA has become more liberal over the last fifty or so years. The PCA split off of it and is much more conservative. I do not know about the Trinity issue, but the PCUSA is very liberal compared to the PCA.
