Wowzers, that stage is packed with awesome musicians!

B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Mick Jagger, Trombone Shorty, Jeff Beck, Susan Tedeschi, Gary Clark Jr., Keb’ Mo’, Derek Trucks, and Warren Haynes???

Big names like you listed above kinda reminded me of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads in Chicago.

He should become a singer when he steps down as president, he really is good.

Eh… no. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not denying that he has some chops… but I know many singers with far better voices that are still working small time circuits.

Republicans tend to only get the support of country stars. Who cares though? Obama is ruining the country. I don’t care if he can sing along to Sweet Home Chicago. A Paul Butterfield he ain’t.

I’m hoping he’ll be singing the blues come November…
LOL; that very well could be evident as far as indicators presently on the political camp.

I’m not particularly in favor of any side whether Republican or Democrat.
Same heaping stench different pile that repeats itself virtually every four years.
And really if strong probability shows that a Republican is poised to take the next seat in the White House, all I can say is I hope he isn’t as bad as Bush.

Not trying to be pessimistic but I never seen any great reason to trust any politician.
Morally; its gambling your vote on the lesser of two evils.

I feel no different about politicians in my own country. Finally; from a Catholic standpoint I realize we must pray for our country leaders hoping God will endow them with ethical leadership and virtuous accountability.

Pretty impressive. Only thing missing was a good President up there with’ em.

I always think of the Blues Brothers when I hear this song. I hope the ghost of John Belushi haunts him for attempting those lyrics. Blasphemy! 😛

Agreed. I’m a big Blues Brothers fan…dressed as them with my date for Sadie Hawkins and performed Soul Man and Rubber Biscuit (I was always Elwood) with close friend in High School.

I hope for the sake of America, Obama is back in ‘Sweet home Chicago’ as soon as possible.
