President Trump's Pro Life Remarks at National Day of Prayer

Is Frank Pavone still a priest in good standing? I know that he has been under investigation, and that “Priests for Life” is no longer able to call itself a Catholic institution, so I assumed he was suspended or something.

Why is this? When did this happen? I’ve always heard wonderful things about priests for life.

Fr. Pavone has long been in contention with his bishops. There have been a number of issues and allegations (both financial and otherwise), which are probably better for you to google then for me to repeat here. The one that I was referring to is that he desecrated an altar with what he claimed was an aborted fetus. I believe it was after that that the Archdiocese of NY said that Priests for Life is not a Catholic institution, and that Fr. Pavone was under investigation, but that may have already been the case before that incident (I’m not sure).
