Who’s praying for the debate tomm.?? It’s sooo important…

Here, too. That said, I’m afraid I’d be personally hard-pressed to see God’s will being done in the event that the current President is re-elected. I mean, I understand and accept the idea of allowing evil to happen in order to bring about a greater good, but I’ve about had my fill of evil!
Totally understand! Remember in the Bible, God gave the people the leaders they DESERVED :/. I’m not sure with abortion and all sorts of ungodly behaviour in America that we will see good prevail just yet. But, we need to pray for God’s mercy anyways:)

when i stand in voting booth i cannot vote for a democrat because if i do i feel i will be responsible for the death of 1000 babies… and will not have that on my soul
I just said basically the same thing to a friend last week. How could we stand before God knowing we voted to continue abortion??🤷

Lord, have mercy on America. Amen.
+ A Prayer for Divine Mercy +

O Greatly Merciful God, Infinite Goodness,
today all mankind calls out from the abyss of its misery
to Your mercy - to Your compassion, O God;
and it is with its mighty voice of misery that it cries out.
Gracious God, do not reject the prayer of this earth’s exiles!

O Lord, Goodness beyond our understanding,
Who are acquainted with our misery through and through,
and know that by our own power we cannot ascend to You,
we implore You: anticipate us with Your grace
and keep on increasing Your mercy in us,
that we may faithfully do Your holy will
all through our life and at death’s hour.

Let the omnipotence of Your mercy shield us
from the darts of our salvation’s enemies,
that we may with confidence, as Your children,
await Your final coming - that day known to You alone.

And we expect to obtain
everything promised us by Jesus
in spite of all our wretchedness.
For Jesus is our Hope:
Through His merciful Heart,
as through an open gate,
we pass through
to heaven.
  • Amen.

I’ve been earnestly praying for this intention and will continue.

Continuing to pray and fast for our nation’s election. Am fortunate to be attending two church services tomorrow to have more quiet time in prayer without distractions.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God pray for us
sinners now and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end Amen

A prayer on the eve of the election:

“Almighty God, we acknowledge with thanks that all we have and enjoy is a gift from your gracious hand. We come before you today in heartfelt appreciation for our nation and its people…Look with favor upon our nation, and preserve our cherished liberties. Enable our leaders to govern with wisdom, honesty, courage, and justice. Protect those who serve in the armed forces and those who maintain peace and safety in our communities…Hear our prayers for Jesus’ sake. Amen.” ~from Christian Worship p. 130
