Valke, one act does not a terrorist war make. The men who did oklahoma city were captured and punished. They were no army or large group. Just a bunch of losers. With Islam we have hundreds of millions of Muslims who rejoiced over 911 and want to help it happen again. That is a huge difference. If you can’t see it then you will soon enough. Remember, you are Jewish. They don’t care if you are on their side. They will kill you first anyway. I watched the Daniel Pearl tape, did you?

In Iraq Fr. Paulos Iskander who was kidnapped a few days ago was beheaded wednesday. The terrorists, of course, had demanded a papal apology. Ironically he was an Assyrian priest. But I guess any kaffir will do in a pinch when it comes to beheading. May he rest in peace and may his murderers be brought to justice. Do I hear any apologies from Islam?
I Imam Saladin Ahmid apologizes for any un Islamic wrong doing done by Muslims.

Did you here this apology?

Sufi, it’s a start. I don’t think I have ever seen a Muslim apologize for anything ever, so this is a first. So you apologize for 911, the long history of wars against Christianity including the invasion of the Byzantine empire and Europe, for Hezbullah’s and Hamas’s recent attacks…? You get the idea. Maybe if you start to apologize for all of these kinds of things it will catch on and lead to real reform in Islam. Let’s give it a try.

Sometimes when a person apologies, it is ok to simply say “thank you.”

Valke, normally you would be correct. But my experience with Islam is that you have to be specific. For example pro claimed he was not in favor of terrorism, but we discovered he is in favor of Hezbullah and Hamas who ARE terrorists. So it is hard to take Muslims at face value. They need to rebuild trust. I invited Sufi to make specific apologies. Note that Muslims are extremely quick to demand an apology and very reluctant to acknowledge one. And when they do they use it against the one who gave it. So while I am pleased that one Muslim out of a billion has begun the process of apology I would like him to be a bit more specific. That way I will know he is sincere and that this is not just a ruse.

I didn’t read a post by him saying he was in favor of Hizbollah or Hamas, so I don’t know. Btw, I don’t think that poster actually apologized. I think he put up a link to a Imam (Iman?) who apologized. Maybe I misread the posts.

It is a bit confusing. Perhaps Sufi will clear this up for us. Sufi?
