My suggestion to anyone who is interested in this controversy is to read the Core Statement of the Rainbow Sash alliance. It mentions nothing of “thumbing their noses” at the Church. People are making a lot of assumptions about those wearing the rainbow sash- that they are not chaste, that they are protesting Church doctrine, etc.

We should not be so quick to judge…
