Priest died while celebrating Mass

One of our visiting priest died while celebrating Mass yesterday in Singapore at the parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour. Nots sure what the cuase is, could be stroke?

Let us offer our prayers for his soul. May he rest in peace.
 
No matter the reason for his death, heart attack, stroke, aneurysm…let us all pray for God’s mercy and eternal rest for his soul!
 
Gee, it I could pick my time to go, why not at mass? At least I’d be in God’s house!! :hmmm:

I agree. I’d say “lucky duck” if I beleived in luck. Instead, FORTUNATE FELLOW!!! Sounds good…

Praise The Lord for His angels, and saints and for this priest/soul, that he may be singing, :whistle: “:bowdown2: Holy, Holy, Holy Lord. God of power and might! That is terrible…At least he went in a place that he presumably would have loved the most!

I often wondered though, if a celebrant died during the celebration of Mass, what would happen?

May he rest in peace!
 
What a wonderful way to die. My pastor once said, “It is every priest’s wish to die during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.”
