Priest hopping and anxiety

I’m really embarrassed of the things I said in Confession when I was going through scrupulousity. I said things that I don’t think were even true but I thought they were because of my anxiety. I wanna go back to Confession but I don’t know if I can face the priests again. I’m considering finding another church to go to for Confession. Is this ok?
Also does anyone think it’s wrong to use anxiety meds before going? I have really bad issues with it and it prevents me from going sometimes, but something about taking pills before I go just seems weird.

You can go to any Catholic priest on earth for confession. Though, it would be advisable to find a regular confessor.

You should discuss the timing of any medication with your doctor. That’s not something that can be answered by strangers on the internet.
