Priest involved in car accident today

Please say a prayer for a woman killed in a car accident today… she was only 24 years old.

The driver that hit her is a Priest, Father Mel… he is in the hospital along with the woman’s 3 year old daughter.

The Priest was coming back from a funeral.

May God comfort all involved.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.
St. Christopher, pray for us.
St. Gemma, pray for us.
 
Lord we ask Your mercy regarding those involved and impacted in this terrible accident.
 
Praying for all involved in the accident …

Jesus, King of Mercy. We trust in You.
Mary, Mother of God. Pray for us.

For the woman who died in the accident: Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Father please comfort this bereaved family and provide a happy and balanced life for this little girl who has lost her mother. Please give her strength and healing and abundance of love. Please give the family grace to forgive.

Father, the priest will be feeling so terrible. He only wished to consoleand bless, and he will feel so confused and lost and wonder where You were at that terrible moment. Please help him to recover, to forgive himself and to receive Your healing.
Loving God let him know that You love Him even though You seemed to desert him in this awful way.
 
Blessed Mother help all involved w/ this terrible happening. Please watch over the little girl and her family. May your Son, Our Lord, watch over his priest Fr. Mel. May all persons involved find the strength to deal with their grief and loss. In Jesus’ Name I pray :crossrc:

Please keep praying, the Priest has now suffered a heart attack.

That’s not surprising. It would be hard not for him to feel that his whole life and even his faith is crashing around him. He only sought to serve and comfort others, but now he is (partly? who knows whose action caused the accident?) responsible for the death of a young mother. Recovery from that would be a huge thing for a priest. Only God can help him recovery from such a terrible thing.
Have mercy on the people suffering with this terrible double tragedy our God.

Oh I know… bless him.

From what I understand, he had a diabetic incident while driving… ran a red light and hit the young mother.
Maybe a diabetic shock?!
