Priest: Persona Christ as Christ: Persona Dei?

If a priest acts (although imperfectly) in persona Christi, does this mean that Christ, the perfect high priest, acts perfectly in “persona Dei”?
If, so, this answers my question on how the Pope fits into the scheme of things as the Vicar of Christ.
 
Christ did not merely act in persona Dei because He is the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity. He took the form of a slave during the Incarnation but the Divine Essence remained in tact.

Well I’m not sure what your question is/was relating to the Pope, but I think that in a sense, the answer to your question above is Yes…But not clearly…If you know what I mean…:p:confused::rolleyes:

The incarnation of “Jesus” (the human aspect) could be seen as the “persona” of God, sent to us for our salvation. But, as pointed out above, the Christ, (The divine aspect) remained perfectly intact and fully unified in the person Jesus Christ.
The Pope, while protected from error in teaching by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, is not as unified with Christ as Christ is with His Father…

If I am understanding you correctly, I suspect this is one of those questions that cannot be fully and clearly expressed (I’ve dealt with these before too). 😃
