Priests and Nuns not "hot"!

Seriously though, pious devoted men are what many, many women look for. Would-be priests fit that description to a “T.” They would have no trouble marrying if they so desired.

Seminarians can date? I didn’t think that was possible. Well, they aren’t ordain so I guess it’s ok.

By exterior looks some might be, some might not be. I’d say alteast one is not necessarily physically attractive. Tha’t not saying looks are everything.

As for interior/spiritual/personality… I can’t tell by a group picture, some might be, some might not be. I wonder if any of them went around “spanking” elementary Catholic school students on their wrists, or were less than kind to students.

Or should we assume because they are nuns that each is a saint and beautiful inside and out?

If you ever watch the rosary on EWTN, there were a couple of young novices who were attractive. My wife used the “What a waste” phrase several times when we went to the Vatican…Of course, she’s used that term as well for our associate parish priest who spends his free time at a casino rather than doing parish activities…

Most of the nuns I’ve seen in real life have been comparatively young women - 20s, 30s, 40s. A few extremely elderly ones, but a few young and cute ones.

Yes, that works for me. I really thought it was a beautiful sight to see the group photo of so many nuns of all ages.

I see you’re in Ave Maria country. No such luck in these parts.
 
I remember seeing a program on EWTN about Mother Angelica. One of the people who works at that TV station had a young son, about 8 or 9, who saw Mother Angelica for the first time, and he said to his Dad “Wow, Dad, isn’t she beautiful??!!”

Now, I love Mother Angelica, but she wouldn’t be called beautiful by the world’s standards. But, out of the mouths of babes comes the truth – she is one of the most beautiful people God ever created! She radiates God’s love!
 
Aside from the obvious fact that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the cassock and other traditional habits (whether for female or male religious) were deliberately designed to disguise physical beauty as much as possible.
