A recent Pew study on people that changed/left religions said that ex-Catholics are usually bitter and angry. I think that this is the reason the guy said what he did. I prepare the alter for all masses at our church and wine is not offered to the congregation during the week. I was only putting a couple tablespoon’s of wine in the chalice but Father told me to cut back a little. On Sundays there is an estimate of the crowds at each mass before the wine is dispensed.
