I am a simple layman with no authority at all to speak at all on behalf of my bishop or diocese (ordinariate), but perhaps it might be worth looking at:
The Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter
Most Rev. Steven J. Lopes, bishop
P.O. Box 55206
Houston, TX 77255
(I am told the ordinariate enjoys excellent relations with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston; however, we are our own structure, have our own parishes and missions across the U.S. and Canada - some, not all, in residence at a territorial diocesan parish - and our bishop incardinates and excardinates and otherwise receives clerics on his own authority. Our primary form of worship is the Divine Worship Form of the Roman Rite, as opposed to the Ordinary Form or the Extraordinary Form of the same - we use mainly Divine Worship: The Missal, though my own parish does offer a Sunday evening Mass in Latin according to the Ordinary Form on most Sundays.)
We were canonically erected in 2012 by the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith and our first ordinary, Monsignor Jeffrey Steenson, appointed by Pope Benedict XVI. Our first bishop, the Most Rev. Steven J. Lopes, was appointed by Pope Francis in 2015, consecrated as bishop and installed as ours in 2016. Our structure - equivalent to a diocese - is a continent wide one intended for former Anglicans but allowing some exceptions for cradle Catholics such as myself.
Anyway, I do not know if opportunities currently exist for sabbaticals in the ordinariate, as I do not work for the chancery and do not speak for it, but it is worth taking a look.
