Priests (&/or catechized Catholics): Is the topic of the Real Presence "too much information" for certain non-Catholics?

I have come to view Purgatory not as time, since God is outside of time, but as pain that we suffer for sinfulness that remains.
So true… and the more stain of sin on the soul, the “longer” he/she spends purging it (assuming they accepted Christ in this life… and his forgiveness)… I realize there is no time w/ God but various accounts of P that i have read… measure it in time anyway…
it appears, from the intense suffering of some on earth, that the Lord graciously allows purgation to begin in this life. What a blessing!
Again, very true… I have begun the process as of years ago… 😦 :o
I think the last years of Pope John Paul II’s life may point to this. I could be completely wrong, but such a loving and wonderful God is He!
I don’t believe you are wrong… I think he suffered more than anyone will know… but then, i think everyone suffers (especially Christians sincerely following Christ) far more than anyone realizes… sometimes even more than the sufferer realizes… (long story…🤷 )

it sounds like you are on the right path. 🙂 God bless… Pray for others to find the path to eternal life… (I know you do 🙂 ).

All we have to do is pray for the holy souls in purgatory. We do not have to name them by name. Because of the efficacious power of prayer, it is as if we pray for each one individually.

Prayers & blessings

i think even catholics (sometimes) are afraid to pray for Protestants who have died… (?)… and they probably are in Purgatory longer because Catholics offer Masses for their deceased loved ones…
