Primacy of Peter. Galatians 2:11-14?

Pertaining to Peter’s Primacy, how do we explain the fact that Paul publicly admonished Peter at Antioch in front of the assembly (Galatians 2:11-14)?, I once heard an evangelical protestant rail about this verse: “Have you ever heard of a cardinal publicly admonishing the Pope…etc?” Galatians chapter 2 is obviously not favorable to the argument of Peter’s Primacy, and reference to it is scant in Catholic publications. Patrick Madrid’s chapter on Peter’s Primacy in “Where is that in the Bible?” doesn’t address it at all. The commentary in the New American Bible merely states that “Peter’s action of breaking table fellowship was especially grievous…”., but fails to address it in terms of Peter’s Primacy. It seems to me that the argument of Peter’s human weakness falls short, as some will say that Paul was clearly establishing doctrine at this assembly.
