If they’re worried about TV not being “gay” enough for their taste, they can always form their own little pay-per-view homosexual channel, which has nothing but homosexuals and their attendant situations. I mean, we have pay-per-view movie channels and pay-per-view porn channels, so why not a pay-per-view “gay” channel? Then the other 98.5% of us don’t have to put up with it.

Well we know that there is an agenda, otherwise this is exactly what would happen.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) should focus on exactly what their title says - defamation. There ought not to be unjust discrmination against gays and lesbians, and anyone who does should be called out. Moving on, I suspect the US TV community is entirely acceptable of the gay lifestyle these days, as opposed to two decades and earlier.

The question I have is, now that TV is accepting of the gay lifestyle, how does having more gay centricty in televsion fall into the scope of what GLAAD does? Clearly GLAAD is overstepping their bounds by not only defending the gay lifestyle, but forcing it on the rest of us.

This article kind of makes me sad, not so much for the state of television, but rather for the type of people GLAADD represents.

I mean, just how confident about yourself and your lifestyle can you be when you have see what you do verified in as much frequency as possible. It sort of makes me wonder just how sure of themselves they are.

Of course, I’m probably wrong. Just my two cents.

The state of televison of today reminds me of a quote from Star Trek: The Next Generation (season one). Data is talking to a man who time traveled from the 20th. century. Data makes the comment that television ceased to be around in 2040. Now, with the condition of the quality of tv programing filled with agendas, could an off the wall comment like the one above ACTUALLY come true?

I think it could. Especially as we continue to grow more INTELLIGENT we will one day say “Enough of these insults!”👍
