I just came upon this and I cannot believe it!..

Prince studies the Bible

How can Prince fall for that? I would think famous people woudn’t fall for things like these since they have been exposed to everything, but then again, there’s Tom Cruise with the scientology…

I guess Prince isn’t too smart after all…
 
And I just noticed this was posted a year ago… I guess I’m not up to date w/the news… 😃
 
Isn’t his music still sexually suggestive?

They will probably disfellowship him for that alone.

He converted a few years ago. Since then, his music reflects his beliefs, and he refuses to play certain of his old songs in concert. This was all over the media back during his last tour… If you google around, you should find more info.
 
I thought he ditched it and only studies and reads the magazines now.

Kinda like a dabbling in it more than a full blown attempt to be one.

Maybe he got fed up with the door to door stuff and did not like the idea that he could not make up lyrics to their hymns and the like.
 
If he comes knocking on my door, he better bring a guitar and some back-up singers.😃

Yes Prince has been a JW for several years now. He married his last wife in a JW ceremony.

What I really want to know is if he’s thought about updating some of the old “Kingdom Melodies”. :rolleyes:

Not that anyone would be born into the situation and have that as the only thing they’d been taught their entire lives…

exactly! I was about to post an answer similar to that… but he disassociated himself with them, now he just believes in God and won’t say what religion he is (as if it’s any of our business to begin with)…
