Since Cohen is “interpretting” scripture to make his claims, I thought this fit better here than in the news. 🤷
And bizarre claims have even been published in American author Tim Cohen’s book The Antichrist and a Cup of Tea. According to Cohen, the “hard evidence” proving the 60-year-old heir to the throne is none other than the Antichrist includes:

He is a direct descendant of the “13th Illuminati Bloodline” known as the Merovingians, which Cohen believes to be the spawn of the devil;

and his Welsh home, Llwyn-y-Wermod, translates as Wormwood Grove which, according to Cohen, is significant because the Bible mentions Wormwood as the way the world will end.

don’t believe such garbage. Prince Charles is most certainly not the anti-Christ. This Cohen is a false prophet. Private interpretation of scripture is unbiblical.
 
Don’t be silly. Prince Charles is not the antichist. He doesn’t have enough kudos for that. He will never be king, unless his mother dies soon. Even if he did become soveriegn, he would have little power. Our monarchy is constitutional. The soveriegn signs state documents and then they pass into law on the king or queen’s signature, It doesn’t mean a whole lot here right now as we are going through a bad time. I think a Royal Wedding is the only thing to get us moving here. Ring any bells?
 
Yes, I think that HM the queen will have a long life but I really don’t see how any of the royal family will ever be the “antichrist.” He or she will have much more power over the people of this world than the British Royal family.
 
Oh, I don’t believe it for a moment. But it’s an excellent example of what can happen when someone “interprets” the Bible. Examples of these interpretations should be strong examples against sola scriptura.

And they make you want to kiss your bishop’s feet, and thank God that we have the Catholic Church to guide us.😃

I hope not. I hope they will not appear until after Sept. 2nd. I don’t want my birthday ruined by the Apocalypse, even though we have nothing else planned.
 
I don’t even think he will be King, I think his son William has a better chance of being the next King.
 
Even if his name adds up to 666, so what? The earliest manuscripts all say 616. Nero fits the best.

I still don’t understand how Charles can be “skipped” in the succession. As I understand it (someone correct me if I am wrong), the laws of the UK do not allow a monarch to choose a successor or to skip people. When the Queen dies (or abdicates, which she has said she will not do) Charles will become king automatically. The one and only way that this will not happen is if Charles decides to abdicate or give up his right, which he has said he will not do. Therefore, Charles will be the next king, and William will follow him.

I did a search to see if this was discussed somewhere else, if so it was buried in another thread. So, give some more info.
 
Oh, that second site was fun.

But I followed another link with a list of odd facts and found this one:
The Pope has on his hat (which looks like a crown) the Name: VICARIVS FILII DEI. This Latin translates to “In the place of the Son of God” and the Roman numerals of the name add up to 666.

He doesn’t - the whole thing is a myth. “Vicarius Filii Dei” is not even a title of the Pope. VFD says what the Pope is - that does not make a description, which is what it is, into a title; let alone a title on a mitre (And which one of them BTW?)​
