At my apartment complex in the laundry center the Jehovah’s Witnesses keep leaving tracts on the counters next to the washing machines. When I saw these, I used to throw them away. But tonight when I went there, I was about to do this again, but I thought, all I’m doing is throwing away pamphlets teaching heretical things about Christ. When I throw this away, the people in this laundry room won’t hear anything about Christ at all. What if, instead, I printed tracts advocating the Catholic faith? So I found this website:

pjpiisoe.org/

The Pope John Paul II Society of Evangelists. They have a lot of Catholic evangelization tracts there, though they are all text and look rather dense. But they’re pretty good from what I’ve read of them. I hear they may have better ones from the St. Paul Street Evangelization. I just signed up for that group; I am hoping to start a chapter here in Austin, TX.

:yup: :clapping:

I was so happy when I found that website. I had the same situation with other tracts (particularly the nefarious Chick anti-Catholic tracts) and others specifically against the Sacraments. I started printing them out - especially these:
  • Anti-Catholic Prejudice
  • Do Christians Need Only the Bible?
  • Sola Scriptura? Not According to the Bible
  • Graven Images: Altering the Commandments?
  • Justification by Grace: Not by Faith Alone
  • The Authority of the Catholic Church
As for the fellows of the Watchtower cult:
  • Jehovah’s Witnesses: A Catholic Response
  • Questions Catholics Should Ask Jehovah’s Witnesses
These are some useful ones to counteract errors - I wouldn’t even throw away other tracts, I’d place mine next to theirs. But they have many others focused on evangelization itself, rather than on opposing errors.

Excellent - I found a number that I’m going to print out for friends in my apartment building who have some misunderstanding about my faith and the Catholic church in general.

Thanks so much for the link.

I’ve seen a lot of Jehovah Witness tracts, but never any Catholic tracts. Though Chick tracts are probably more likely to be read.

There are also great printable tracts produced by St. Paul Street Evangelization. They are available for printing to members. A suggested donation is recommended to become a member but if you can’t afford a membership they give you access for free. The tracts are very well done and are very attractive. Worth a 5 or 10 dollar pledge. streetevangelization.com/training/begin-training/
