A child dies before the age of making his/her First Holy Communion, and not making first confession, is the child considered an Angel and ascends to Heaven? This child would not be anywhere near the age of reasoning or making their First Communion.

Human persons do not become angels. If a human person reaches heaven then they are a saint.

A baptized child who has not reached the age of reason cannot sin and thus would be in a state of grace. If it should happen that they tragically die then they would indeed become a saint in heaven.
