I have one daughter in college and two in Catholic High School. So even ten is quite a bit of money to me.

I would just go ahead and write whatever you want about religion. Be like an elderly person who makes no apologies for who they are. If that sends them running in the opposite direction, no biggee. They’ll just think, “Oh that’s the religious nut that keeps telling me “x”.” They might resume the pen friendship at a later time when they’re bored.

They may or may not write about religion if they do decide to write back.

Yep, and you can just put small bits in there, like say you did something after Mass or before Mass or something like that, because that way it’s not sounding like you’re pushy, but at least they know your faith is important to you.
