Is that a not so tip top website @blackforest?Lemme guess: It’s from Lifesite?
We don’t know what the bishop knows and what he doesn’t. We aren’t privy to the state of the president of Argentina’s soul, what counsel he may have receive from his bishop, what may be privately known to the bishop but not to us, etc.Shouldn’t an Argentine Archbishop know if the President of his country is openly living in contempt of God’s Law?
Doesn’t appear that way to me. Seems more like slinging mud than any real interest in anything. Sensationalized thread headline that doesn’t accurately portray what happened. Someone a world away, who doesn’t know anything about the situation, posting a thread with NO point. My focus was on the giving of Holy Communion if, in fact, he was a pro-abortion adulterer as alleged.
This seems to have been agreed upon even before the interview: according to Archbishop Hector Aguer, former archbishop of La Plata, Fernandez told the press on the eve of his meeting with Francis that the issue of abortion would not be raised. This would seem to suggest that there was an agreement on this point prior to the audience.
