Albany, NY (LifeNews.com) – In an act that is sure to generate guffaws from the pro-life community, a group of pro-abortion clergy in Schenectady held a ceremony at a local abortion business to bless it and call it “sacred ground.” Religious officials who are pro-life call the ceremony sacrilegious by blessing a place that kills the life God creates.

This reminds me of when I was 12 and visited my aunt’s ranch in Oregon. We would cut the heads off the chickens and the body would run around all over, often where a chicken with a head would never go. The analogy I am trying to make is once the body (the Church) is separated from the head (Magisterium) you can end up just about anywhere even serving the devil.

“guffaws” … not exactly, I think.

There is so much so wrong in so many of the quotes, it is simply all tomfoolery.

It never ceases to amaze me, the contortions we can force our minds to perform, in order to justify our sins.

These members of the clergy must have forgotten that they are directly supporting the killing of the baby Jesus by their actions. He took shelter in a mother’s womb! Yes, we need to pray. We need to fast. We need to act.

Them and that place need an EXORCISM, this is as welcome to God as the sprinkling of Holy Water is in hell, God preserve us, just totally and utterly demonic and diabolical.
 
This is quite possibly the most disgusting and disturbing thing I have ever read. It is absolutely horrible. They had better repent, and soon, or else God will have some very hard questions for them on judgement day about what they did in His name.

As I recall the Carthaginians worshipped Satan, under the name of Mooloch, by sacrificing infants. I presume that is the god these clergy call upon.
 
I can understand being a proabortion atheist, agnostic, deist, or pagan (although there are pro-life atheists, agnostics, deists, and pagans, who recognize the humanity of the unborn via science, and see abortion as a civil rights-the civil rights of the unborn, that is-issue). However, I just don’t get how a Christian, Jew, or Muslim-anyone who believes in One God the Almighty Creator of the universe and everything in it (including us), can support abortion. That is like saying God made a mistake in making those children, and we “know better” than He when a child should be born :confused: I would love to sit them down and ask them, “do you believe in an all powerful God or not? Do you believe God makes mistakes or not?” The irony is, these same clergy probably support same sex unions and “gay marriage”, with the justification that “God made them (homosexuals) that way and wants them to be happy”, but won’t acknowledge He had a hand in placing all those babies in their mothers’ wombs, and it wasn’t for the purpose of “empowering” the women through some so called “right” to abortion. :mad:

How could clergy be PRO-abortion? I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around that one, let alone the rest of the vileness in that article. :confused:
 
Several years ago I saw a cartoon of one in clerical dress, but unspecified denomination, outside an abortion clinic. He was leading a group saying, “Let us Prey.” :eek:

Well it seems people automatically associate the word “Clergy” with the Catholic Priesthood.

I believe that this is heresy to the highest degree (even if they were not Catholic, it still goes against Christianity, and Abrahamic Faith in general).

How do they justify doing something like that?
